Nothing at all is said here about financial success. In fact, of the fifty-nine times that ṣlḥ refers to success, and the ten to eleven times that ṣlḥ does, only once are finances even remotely in view. This is in Ezek 16:13, which states about the city of Jerusalem, “So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth.
